Is the sofa removal really free?
Yes! If your sofa is in good condition, has no major rips, stains, or pet damage, and fits our modern style criteria, we’ll collect it completely free of charge. Just send us a few photos via our sofa submission form, and we’ll let you know if it qualifies.
How quickly can you collect my old sofa?
In many cases, we can collect your sofa within 1–2 days, depending on your location and availability. We always try to fit you in as soon as possible — especially if you need it gone quickly.
What happens to my sofa after it’s collected?
Every sofa we accept is brought back to our Dorking unit, where it’s professionally cleaned, photographed in a studio-style setup, and then listed for resale. We pride ourselves on giving secondhand sofas a second life.
Do you also sell sofas?
Yes – we sell both:
• High-quality secondhand sofas (professionally cleaned and carefully selected)
• Brand-new sofas at a fraction of retail prices
Whether you’re after a bargain or something premium, we’ve got options to suit all budgets.
Can I view the sofas before buying?
Yes! You’re welcome to visit us in Dorking to see any sofa in person. We’re more than happy for people to view before they buy – just get in touch to book a time.
Do you offer delivery?
Absolutely – we offer free next-day delivery on many of our sofas within Surrey and surrounding areas. If you’re further out, just message us and we’ll do our best to work something out.
Where are you based?
We’re based in Dorking, Surrey, and cover sofa removals and deliveries across Surrey, Sussex, London, and surrounding regions.
Are you a big company?
Nope – we’re a small, family-run business started by Jack (that’s me 👋). I’m 22 and started Sofa To Go after flipping my first free sofa in under 24 hours. This is a passion project turned growing business, and we’re on a mission to make sofa removal and buying easier, faster, and more affordable for everyone.
What’s the bigger vision?
We’re working towards opening a full showroom where people can walk in, try out sofas, and even get their old ones removed on the same day. We want to make sofa shopping as simple and stress-free as possible.
How do I submit my sofa for removal?
Click on our sofa submission form, upload a few clear photos, and tell us a bit about your sofa. We’ll respond within 24–48 hours to let you know if we can collect it — sometimes even same-day.
